Britain goes to the polls on 23 June to decide whether the country will remain in the European Union (EU) or exit it. After Brexit, the list of ADR entities published by the European Commission will now be the responsibility of the UK Secretary of State, who will no longer be required to send the list of ADR entities and a report to the European Commission. The requirement for ADR entities to offer cross border resolution is removed. Much of the talk amongst these firms currently involves the General Data Protection Regulations. However EU directives relating to Online and Alternative Dispute Resolution are often ignored.
